Storage Conditions：

Temporary storage in a -80°C freezer is allowed. Do not store at -80°C for an extended period. Long-term storage can be achieved in liquid nitrogen.

Product Introduction：

This product consists of high-purity retinal pigment epithelial-like cells (RPE-like cells) generated by directed differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The cells exhibit a typical polygonal epithelial morphology and can form a compact monolayer. They stably express RPE-specific markers including MITF, PMEL17, RPE65 and BEST1. This product is suitable for mechanistic investigation, candidate drug screening and cellular functional evaluation of age-related macular degeneration, Stargardt disease, Best disease, Bietti crystalline corneoretinal dystrophy and other RPE-associated degenerative ocular diseases, providing a reliable in vitro model for basic and translational research.

Operation Procedures and Precautions

Upon cell receipt, inspect and record whether the cells show any signs of thawing during transit and check the integrity of cryovials.

Transfer to liquid nitrogen immediately. Temporary storage in a -80°C freezer is acceptable; long-term storage at this temperature is not permitted.

Take photos for documentation and report immediately if any issues are found.

Scope of Application

This product is for research use only and shall not be used for clinical therapy or other purposes.
