The NPC-Glu Differentiation Kit is an efficient cell differentiation tool independently developed and manufactured by SomaxBio. It is used for the directed differentiation of neural progenitor cells (NPCs) into functionally mature glutamatergic neurons. The resulting glutamatergic neurons can specifically express FOXG1, a key transcription factor for forebrain development, vesicular glutamate transporter VGLUT1 (a marker of glutamatergic neurons), as well as neuron-specific markers MAP2 and TUJ1 (β‑III tubulin). With an optimized combination of small-molecule compounds and growth factor formulation, this product ensures an efficient and stable differentiation process (differentiation efficiency ≥90%). It is suitable for basic and preclinical scientific research.
